‘Fibrefastic’ Exhibition and Fair is Ready To Go – Thanks to Our Collaborators

  1. Exhibition 2018 collection of 167 items: handspun, handdyed, knitted, crocheted, felted and woven items using a wide variety of favourite and innovative methods and techniques
  2. Showcasing Felt Artist’s Kristey Batten’s new work in ‘still life’
  3. Awards ceremony 11am, Friday 27 July, you can help make an award too –vote for your favourite piece
  4. Demonstrations and interactive educational activities for visitors to try over the three days
  5. Great raffle prizes, sponsored from some of our favourite stores in Tauranga and further afield (see more detail above).
  6. Plus over 20 traders of yarn, roving, untreated fleece, carded or dyed wool, spinning wheels and other equipment and fibres for all your yarn needs (listed above)
  7. Members items for sale, with funds often used to launch new creative projects
  8. A ‘cash and carry table’ of smaller items that raise money for our club activities. Visitors will find some neat items here to take home
  9. A café on site for hot drinks and food
